Inspired by the ‘90s when fashion designers started to look into “retro-fashion” for inspirations and the concept of “Vintage » style was introduced. Since then Tokyo has become one of the world’s fashion capital for vintage products and vintage lovers. From Shibuya and Harajuku to Koenji and Shimokitazawa people use vintage products to reinterpret current fashion and to express individuality. Originally a brandless optical frame from the ‘50s, this style was re-interpreted in the ‘90s, thus becoming a popular retro-style sunglasses.
